Content Management Modules
A library of SiteExecutive modules (widgets or applets if you prefer) has been developed for extending the functionality of your Websites. Want to add a search box and search results page? Our search module does the trick. Need forms for collecting leads or surveys? The Advanced Forms module lets you build custom forms without any coding – it’s fast, easy and secure. In addition to our collection of Core and Add-On modules described below, Systems Alliance and our clients have developed many custom modules by leveraging the SiteExecutive API and training course for developers.
SiteExecutive Core Modules
All of the following Core modules are included in the base application:
Classification: This module lets you define, build and manage one or more classification schemes for describing the content on your Website. Sometimes called controlled vocabularies, the classification structure uses three-tier hierarchy of topics, facets and terms. >>Click here to learn more.
Content Intelligence (Related Content): Enables personalization of content based on site visitor's interest. This module works in conjunction with the SiteExecutive Classification module, streamlining site development by providing an automated process for displaying relevant content on templates or pages.
Content Search: Introduces a search interface to a page and allows visitors to search content. The underlying indexes are built dynamically after the page is published and the results are rendered on the page in which the interface was introduced. Extends the Content Search module functionality by providing for a unique “search results” page based on a specific template optimized for displaying search results.
Content Search (Targeted): Extends the Content Search module functionality by providing for a unique "search results" page based on a specific template optimized for displaying search results.
Current Time: Displays the time and/or date every time a page is loaded based on the server time. The module supports multiple formats for both the date and time.
DHTML Link Menu: Creates structured menus, submenus and links that visitors can easily navigate. This module allows non-technical users to create Flash-like menus that are dynamically updated.
Featured Content: Allows content contributors to suggest a page as a “featured link” on another page. The module has an approval process built in so that the owner of the second page can approve or reject the suggested page to be featured.
HTTP Passthrough: Configures the display of rendered content from another Website on a SiteExecutive page. A fully qualified or absolute URL is necessary for the Website content to be inserted. This module allows organizations to pass external information into a SiteExecutive page.
Site Information: Displays navigational information within a page or template. Information displayed includes page name, title, folder name or title, breadcrumb trails and site URLs.
Login/Registration: Allows public visitors to login to a secure area of a Website with an established username and password.
Send to a Friend: Launches an e-mail message from one user to another user, providing a link to the page on which the module is displayed. Produces and displays a dynamic outline of your Website, configurable to include only desired folders and pages.

Last Published: Automatically displays the last published date and/or time of the page.
Print This Page: Inserts a link that allows the user to print the page in a print-friendly format.

Object Inclusion: Embeds objects onto a SiteExecutive page. Objects must be stored within the SiteExecutive instance. Objects that may be embedded include but are not limited to other pages, audio files, Macromedia Flash movies, images, PDF files, multimedia files and other types of binary files and object.
