Systems Alliance and our clients have gained significant experience customizing SiteExecutive and integrating it with other applications and databases. We enable “extensibility” as a product feature, because the Web is incredibly dynamic and we cannot possibly anticipate all the cool things you might do online with SiteExecutive as your CMS. To meet your evolving business requirements, SiteExecutive offers the following capabilities:

1 Well-defined API

The SiteExecutive API (application programming interface) provides complete access to the SiteExecutive framework. This is the same core framework used by our developers for ongoing product development. In addition to documentation, Systems Alliance offers a three-day hands-on Developer Training program to help you leverage the API and our module and application frameworks. 2 Custom module development

Off the shelf and custom modules are all based on the same Module Framework. Using the SiteExecutive API, you can build custom modules for a wide range of purposes, for example: policy management and online bill payment.

3 Application Framework

To help you do more with SiteExecutive, we've created the SiteExecutive Application Framework, for modeling, managing and delivering dynamic content. By dynamic, we mean content assembled dynamically at the time of publishing. Content created and managed by the Application Framework can take the form a Web page, but it could just as easily be an XML feed or virtually any other MIME type.

4 Integration with other systems and repositories

Clients can integrate SiteExecutive with a variety of databases, applications and external sources of information. Modules, such as the HTTP-Passthrough, allow the inclusion of external sites and information.

5 Integration with LDAP, Active Directory or custom security model

Systems Alliance makes it easy for you to integrate SiteExecutive with your existing directory. This is an attractive option for organizations with larger groups of users with established security protocols.

6 Load balancing, fail over, high performance

SiteExecutive supports multiple authoring and rendering servers, allowing secured content to exist on the authoring server behind a firewall for security measures. SiteExecutive supports load balancing, redundant architecture and disaster recovery procedures.

7 Training

The SiteExecutive training curriculum includes a three-day API workshop for developers, as well as classes for beginners, power users, designers and site administrators.
