Classification Module

The SiteExecutive Classification module lets you define, build and manage one or more classification hierarchies (aka controlled vocabularies) for describing the content on your Website. Classifications are built on a three-tier model using faceted classification, consisting of topics, facets and terms. Each topic is broken down into a collection of facets. Each facet has a set of related terms.

Here's an example of a classification scheme:

Topic = Cars

Facets = Manufacturer, Body Type, Exterior Color, etc.

Terms related to the Facet “Manufacturer” = Audi, BMW, Buick, Chevrolet, Ford, etc.

Once you have defined a hierarchy, you can apply facets and terms to you content using the Related Content Module. Once content is tagged, it can be automatically displayed on relevant pages using the display component of the Related Content Module.
