Systems Alliance Boosts Web Effectiveness with Launch of SiteExecutive 4 Web Content Management Software

New Version Provides Advanced Capabilities for Classifying and Delivering Content, Stronger Compliance with Industry Standards, and Expanded Deployment Options

SPARKS, Md., January 29, 2008 – Systems Alliance, Inc., a software development firm and systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced the launch and general availability of SiteExecutive 4, the latest version of its widely deployed Web content management application. Building upon the ease-of-use, extensibility and performance of prior versions, SiteExecutive 4 offers advanced capabilities for classifying and delivering content, stronger compliance with industry standards, and expanded deployment options. A complete overview of all improvements can be found on the new SiteExecutive Website: http://www.siteexecutive.com/products/whats-new.html.

“Systems Alliance has done a terrific job of enhancing the functionality of SiteExecutive 4 to better meet its clients’ needs,” said Rich Sigler, director, Web services, Loyola College in Maryland. “During a preview demonstration, I was impressed by how well the software blends ease of use with powerful capabilities for creating, managing and delivering more effective Websites.”

SiteExecutive 4 provides enhancements for attracting and engaging site visitors, accelerating and governing site creation, and optimizing site functionality, including:

Classification Engine and Content Intelligence Module: An intuitive taxonomy building system now lets clients classify all content types, including HTML, images, .pdfs, and all other binary files included in a site. Once classified, The Content Intelligence module can be added to any page or template, where it will automatically display relevant content.

Improved support for mobile devices: SiteExecutive 4 incorporates a new page attribute which assigns style sheets based on CSS 2 media types. In addition to supporting handheld devices, SiteExecutive supports a range of other media types including screen readers, projectors, Braille, print and even TV.

Stronger standards compliance: SiteExecutive 4 is compliant with XHTML and CSS 2 standards. It features a new WYSIWYG editor that provides flexibility for assigning and editing header tags, further enhancing compliance with accessibility standards.

More search engine friendly:  Content contributors now have built-in capabilities for optimizing content, including control over H1-H6 tags and browser title, as well as a page comparison utility for evaluating content revisions.

Binary versioning: SiteExecutive 4 provides automated version control for all binary files, providing a fail-safe mechanism for rolling-back to prior versions as needed and assisting with document retention policies.

Expanded platform support: SiteExecutive 4 now allows content authoring on Windows XP and Vista PCs using IE 7, as well as Mac OS-X computers running Firefox 2.x browsers. Server deployment options now include Apache on Windows, in addition to IIS, and Apache on Solaris and Red Hat Linux.

“With SiteExecutive 4, Systems Alliance is delivering a number of key enhancements aimed at helping clients create better Web experiences for site visitors, content contributors and IT,” said Ric Hughes, president and CEO, Systems Alliance. “By addressing the Web content management challenge across these three dimensions, SiteExecutive 4 reduces the complexity, cost and effort of creating effective Websites, boosting business results and ROI.”
